This project began with a clear goal: to create a brand and website that reflected the calm, refined beauty of Kingfisher Beach House. I worked closely with the homeowner to understand the story behind the space and what made it feel special. Through conversations, moodboarding, and shared inspiration, we shaped a visual identity that felt personal, peaceful, and true to the home.
Branding + Visual Design
I worked closely with the owner to create a brand that truly represented the spirit of Kingfisher Beach House. From the beginning, it was important that the design felt personal and honest. We talked about the feeling of the house, the calm it offers, and the details that make it unique.
The logo was inspired by a photo the owner took of a kingfisher bird on his property. It became a central symbol of the home; quiet, sharp, and connected to nature. The color palette was drawn from the soft blues of the shoreline and the warm orange of Whidbey Island sunsets. Every choice was made to reflect the beauty and stillness of the place.
The Kingfisher Merch
The Kingfisher merchandise line includes a Miir water bottle featuring the custom logo, blending function with thoughtful design. Soft bamboo t-shirts and a sturdy canvas tote complete the collection, offering guests a lasting connection to the calm and beauty of the beach house.
